Joe Biden to visit Arizona next week. What to know

President Joe Biden will travel to Arizona next week as the Nov. 5 election draws closer.
Biden will travel to the battleground state from Oct. 24-25 for an “official event,” according to a statement from the White House.
The president’s visit to the battleground state adds to a series of campaign stops from high-profile Democrats. Vice President Kamala Harris visited the state last week, along with second gentleman Doug Emhoff and first lady Jill Biden.
Barack Obama will visit Tucson on Friday, Oct. 18.
Recent polls show former President Donald Trump, who held a rally in Prescott Valley on Sunday, is ahead of Harris in the state as early voting began.
